Show Notes

It’s December 9th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. Your morning intel starts now.

------

A good day to you, ladies and gentlemen. I’ve got five briefs for you this morning that are shaping America — and the world.

First, the United Kingdom is discovering that sometimes the wind doesn’t blow, and that means their wind turbines won’t be creating electricity this weekend.

Second, another electricity crisis to tell you about, this one in the southern African countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Third, illegal migrants in America are using social media to coordinate their travel around the country, that’s surprising city officials when they suddenly just show up.

Fourth, America’s spies just about welcomed a new set of colleagues: former marijuana users. Some GOP Senators put a stop to that plan.

Finally, a weather forecast that we should all care about — it’s called La Niña, with important implications for the global economy.

Later, we close out the podcast with my response to the prisoner swap yesterday between America and Russia.
