Carolina and Alessandra are co-founders of OneSkin, a biotechnology company developing disruptive rejuvenation technologies. Carolina, with a Ph.D. in Immunology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in collaboration with Rutgers University, and an IndieBio alum, relocated to Silicon Valley from Latin America in 2016to co-found OneSkin and spearhead the development of groundbreaking rejuvenation technologies. Alessandra, the co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer, holds a Master's degree in stem cell biology and a Ph.D. in skin regeneration and tissue engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, in collaboration with the 3B’s Research Group in Portugal. She is also credited with co-inventing three patents and publishing 20 peer-reviewed papers in scientific journals.
