Show Notes
* I have met with a business profit coach from UGA. * She was impressed with the things I’ve already implemented * She got me all the paperwork to set up the company’s first hire. E-verify * We signed papers to get started with Service Titan * We are in the process of getting everything set up with The New Flat Rate * We hired 2 service technicians & we are looking for 2 more techs. * One tech starts in 2 weeks * The green tech started last week. He is picking up on stuff really quick. * We need one service technician who is experienced but not a super tech who can also do installs. * The other tech would be someone who is an appliance tech and can catch basic hvac service calls. * We picked up a new service van. * Transit connect. * We are going to try it out. I’ve had decent experiences with the original connects, but I have read and heard from others in our Facebook groups that the connects are way better now. * Transit 250 diesel * This van was Brandon’s vehicle when I bought in at the beginning of the year. It’s really nice, and we hope to get many many years out of it since it’s a diesel. * Jeep Wrangler * This is Brandon’s daily driver. He will go to networking and his sales calls. * Started using T-sheets to keep track of techs’ time until we start using Service Titan. * I’m not sure if Service Titan uses T-Sheets, or if they have their own time sheet program. * We are using quickbooks online and are muscling through it... * We have hired a remote bookkeeper, and her team is setting up our quickbooks so that we don’t screw it up. * Revenue for the first month in business. $30k+
